BUILDING CAMPAIGN
The M.O.R. E. Center is the result of a community with vision and drive. Something had to be done to improve conditions. Cramped quarters, inefficient services and low volunteer morale were factors that could no longer be ignored. In the year 2000, Marengo area OutReach Enterprises (M.O.R.E.) was organized to take on the operations of the food pantry and to solve the problems. The outstanding facility houses a comprehensive set of programs designed to meet the emergency needs of our neighbors, as well as provides a meeting place for community organizations.
