BIO OF CHRIS BOTTS
Marengo became my hometown when my husband, Bob, and I got married. We raised our five children here and enjoyed our teaching careers in the local school districts. The food pantry interested me and I became the Inter-Church Council representative for Sacred Heart Church. When M.O.R.E. took over, I was eager to join the Board of Directors. I served in various capacities. Most recently, I am serving as their treasurer. Now that I have retired from teaching, I am learning how to help our clients with advice through ourEmergency Financial Assistance program. My time is spent between M.O.R.E., Sacred Heart and family. My many blessings make me want to give back to our community.
